If you want to ride horses in Colorado, ask about home rentals.  Near the city, choose from rental homes west of Denver or Colorado Springs or in Douglas County.   Though you could end up buying your own horse property in Boulder or Douglas counties, try renting a house or condo close to stables.  In Colorado you cannot get too far from horses.
